Release Notes

This project describes and implements the (documented) way to walk a callstack for any thread (own, other and remote). It has an abstraction layer, so the calling app does not need to know the internals.

Thank you for this project. Like 'theultramage' says, we can found some others doing almost the same thing but they don't print a 'human readable' stack.

StackWalker is the first and only library I found that reliably captures the call stack from the same thread as the caller. It took a bit of tinkering to reverse-engineer the virtual overloading approach, but once that's done it works like a charm. I'm using it in my AllocTrace project.
